The Speedline.
“Speedlining” or you could call it a “Zip-line” is a technique we use for tree removal or pruning when the tree is very close to the house or other structures. This technique allows us to lower the limbs or top not straight down, but away from tree to a safe location where no damage can occur. Here is a clip where a speedline is used to lower a top away from the house and out to the road.
Removing two cedar trees in North Vancouver.
The roots of these cedars were damaging the driveway by lifting the asphalt. They also weren’t suitable to retain given the clients plans to remodel the front yard area. Careful rigging ensured no damage was done and the tree removal was completed safely & efficiently.
